CHICKEN BOLOGNESE

Ingredients

  • ok150 g Minced chicken breast
  • ok2 small (50 g) Shallots, finely chopped
  • ok1/2 medium (30 g) Carrot, finely chopped
  • ok1 stalks (50 g) Celery, finely chopped
  • ok1/2 clove (3 g) Fresh garlic, finely chopped
  • ok1/2 cup (125 ml) Water
  • ok1/2 cup (125 g) Tomato Puree
  • ok1/4 tsp (1 g) Salt
  • ok1 tsp (2 g) Dried basil leaves
  • ok150 g Shaped Pasta, Cart-wheels/Stars/Alphabet
  • ok1 ltr (4 cups) Water
  • ok1 tbs (5 g) Parmesan cheese

Let's Cook

  1. 1Heat vegetable oil in a deep round cooking pan.
  2. 2Add chicken and cook until it’s browned. 
  3. 3Add onions, carrots, celery and garlic and cook on medium heat until veggies are soft. 
  4. 4Add water, tomato puree, salt, basil and simmer over medium heat for 15-20 minutes. 
  5. 5Meanwhile cook your kid's favorite pasta in boiling water. 
  6. 6Drain the water and toss the pasta with sauce.
  7. 7Sprinkle some Parmesan cheese and serve.
