MINI KAFTA KABABS DISH


Ingredients

  • ok450 g of ground beef 
  • ok1 tsp Salt
  • ok¼ tsp pepper
  • ok1 small onion, finely chopped
  • okHandful of finely chopped parsley
  • ok1 egg
  • ok300g English Potatoes (baby potatoes)
  • ok1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • okA pack of toothpicks
  • ok4 Tbsp plain yogurt
  • ok½ tsp salt
  • ok2 cucumbers, chopped

Let's Cook

To make the kafta: 

  1. 1Mix 450g of fine ground beef with salt, pepper, onion, finely chopped parsley and egg very well.
  2. 2Shape into mini kafta fingers, place in an oven tray (lightly brushed with olive oil), and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes on 180 C, flipping the kababs over halfway through.
  3. 3In the meantime, boil and season baby potatoes with sea salt, and pepper.
  4. 4Use toothpicks to create fun baby potato and cherry tomato sticks to go with the mini kafta.

To make the yoghurt cucumber salad: 

  1. 1Mix plain yoghurt with salt to taste, until yoghurt becomes creamy.
  2. 2Wash, peel and chop the cucumbers into small pieces and add them to the yoghurt. 
  3. 3Get your toothpicks ready!
